McCoy Student Success Center

The McCoy Student Success Center provides students with resources and opportunities to support their professional growth. Through career events, internship programs, and a comprehensive mentorship initiative, the center helps students develop career readiness, gain hands-on experience, and build connections with industry professionals. It’s where students take the next step toward a successful and fulfilling career.

    See all the upcoming career fairs on campus. Meet with future employers in a variety of fields including business, government, communication, science, media, and nonprofit industries.

    Career Closet
    Too many t-shirts and not enough money for dress clothes? Students can rent professional attire free of charge to help them make a great first impression on potential employers.

    The McCoy College of Business Student Success Center fosters academic, professional, and personal growth for undergraduate students, with a strong emphasis on career readiness.

  • Disability Services
    Qualified students with documented disabilities are provided a variety of services which may include classroom accommodations, adaptive computer equipment, disability management counseling, and more.

    Counseling Center
    If you’re having difficulty coping with mental health issues such as stress, depression, or loss, the Counseling Center offers individual, group, and couples counseling along with crisis response and consultation. 

    Student Health Center
    A variety of healthcare services are available for students, including medical, laboratory, digital radiography, and pharmacy services. The center offers affordable prices for students and health insurance coverage is not needed to receive care.

    TXST Off-Campus Living
    Find out about some of the many off-campus housing options through online resources, presentations, and fairs. 

    Student Organizations
    Join a student organization to meet other students that share your interests.  From academic and professional to cultural or recreational, there’s a club for you! 

  • BOSS Scholarship System
    The Bobcat Online Scholarship System (BOSS) Scholarship System is a database of scholarships offered by TXST. This system allows students to use one application to apply for multiple scholarships. The system is regularly updated to show new scholarship offerings.

    TXST Work Study
    Part time, on campus work offered based on financial need. Students can work up to 25 hours a week and are paid twice a month. These are hourly wage positions.

    Attorney for Students
    Currently enrolled students get free legal counseling services for many issues including renting and lease agreements, criminal law, LGBTQIA rights, and immigration.

    Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center
    Victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse can receive help through counseling, shelter, and legal services and advocacy.   Legal advocates can accompany clients to legal proceedings, court hearings, appointments with law enforcement, and to file a police report.  All services are free and confidential to residents of Hays and Caldwell counties at several locations in the area; walk-ins are welcome during normal hours of operation.
